AGAJA vision and pledge
AGAJA stands for:
Zero tolerance to corruption: All the elected members and anybody holding any position of authority, in the government or in AGaJA will uphold the principle of utmost honesty, integrity, patriotism and enthusiasm to serve the people.
100% transparency
incorruptible, conscientious, committed, solvent, effective leadership
100% democracy
Ease of living for all, bringing calm, peace and happiness to all.
Effective governance with accountability (there is no grey area in government but huge gaps in governance for want of clear superision and accountability).
AGAJA says no to:
Meaningless activity.
Massive public events / gatherings / rallies as these stress the societies and impacts routine and livelihoods of the majority.
Parking of vehicles on public spaces (e.g. roads, streets, pavements, pedestals).
Corrup leaders: Within AGaJA, any firm allegation will be strictly followed up . Concerned individuals must immediately give up any position of authority that they may hold by virtue of being member of AGaJA and face the judicial process till the issue is resolved in their favour.
Money or muscle in politics: Party ticket would be given to those that are found to be honest, effective, dedicated and committed. The onus of remaining honest with 100% integrity will continue to rest with the particular number who would give the undertaking that if any suspicion on their name comes up at any point of time, they would voluntarily resign to first clear their name.
Piling up of court cases: Towards this, AGaJA would ensure that there is zero pendency of court cases. Judicial process begins once the investigation finishes, and not in parallel, as the latter is the recipe for disaster (queues, gaming of the system, harassment of the honese, abuse of public authority, money and muscle power).
Irresponsible behaviour by elected leaders and public officials: All such individuals who are part of government, no matter their level or stature, would have to comply by the law and their contractual obligation. Any derelection of duty or willful negligence would be sternly dealt with. Responsibilities would be fixed and not blurred. There would be one to one mapping between any lapse in governance (potholes, traffic violation, misuse of public property and spaces etc) and the one responsible. Summary action would be taken as soon as any lapse is noted. Depending upon the oversight / inpection level, action would be taken at the corresponding level, e.g., a minsiter finding a lapse, he must take action agains the Secretary (or equivalent level) concerned and not the CP or ACP or Inspector or constable.
